football is very famous game in brazil. the brazilian national football team has won FIFA world cup fives time. it is only one team who have qualified in every world cup ever held.brazil won its third world cup in 1970 and they were awarded the jules rimet trophy permanently.football in taken very serious in brazil . pele is the most famous player of the world who is from brazil .he helped brazil to won FIFA world cup for three times and had score many goals and is the top scorer of all time in sports.
football was firstly introduced in brazil by a scottish expatriate named thomas donohue .the first football match played in brazil was in april 1894. in 1888 first sports club
was formed in the city named as sao paulo athletic club.later from england charles brought some football equipments and a rule book with him and then he taught the rules to the players in sao paulo athletic.later many organization established to develop football in brazil.
